Reset Network Adapter

I have the same problem, but with a variation. I "lose" the ethernet adaptor
every time I exit "sleep" mode. Reseting the adaptor has always resolved the
problem, but what a pain. So far I have not had any problem at bootup. Go
figure!

I have exactly the same problem. About half the time or more, after a reboot
I've got no network connectivity. The only solution I've found is to do
Diagnose and Repair, Obtain New IP Address, wait for it to time out, then
Reset Network Adapter. This is extemely tedious and annoying.

Did anyone find a solution to this problem?

As a work around, does anyone know how to automate the reset network adapter
command, using scripting or any other method?

Thanks - Rowan
