Richard

Is anyone able to point me towards a very simple photo editor (able to crop
min.) for an elderly lady with her first computer, XP?

I'd go for Irfanview. In 20 mins I had a friend who'd never used any
kind of graphics program scanning, resizing, cropping and adjusting colour.

Thanks for all your advice. I'll go with Irfanview which I use anyway. She
takes off centre pictures so some cropping is needed. I was trying to
minimise the amount of handholding from me.

Hi Richard, :)

Also give Paint.NET a try. From there:
http://www.eecs.wsu.edu/paint.net
It comes with help file (and link inside help to tutorials for first
time user).

For resizing pictures, take a look at MIR.NET (here:
www.acumensystems.com ). Its like MS powertoy, but with more features.

Best Regards!!!
Giorgos. :)
