REQ: I Can't Get Rid Of XP Windows Media Player error message 'will not fit'

I have to be doing something wrong!

Just as a test, I put 'Windows Welcome Music' (title.wma) by itself in
Windows Media Player's 'Play List'. Then I tried 'Copy to CD' again.
Lo, I still get the damned 'will not fit' message - which blocks
writing a CD of course.

So - why do I get the 'will not fit' error, no matter what I try?

Thanks
