Replying to email in Outlook 2000 launches Outlook Express

I need to make this not happen.

I receive an email in Outlook 2000. The sender has their email address
somewhere in their email. If I have their email highlighted in the Inbox,
and then click the Reply button, Outlook displays a new window, ready for me
to use for my reply. However, if I click on their email address, which is
embedded in their email, Outlook Express launches to handle the reply.

How can I disable this?

Thanks,
Scott

Perhaps your Outlook is not set as the default mail program. Check this by
going to Tools - Options- General. Also check the options on Internet
Explorer. Tools - Internet Options- the Email program should have Outlook
not Outlook Express.

Not completly postive this will resolve the issue but it is at least a place
to start.

Francine,

You are correct. Thank you very much. I checked internet options, and
found that the email settings were indeed set to OE.
