Good Morning Steve:
I'm trying to find "stability" with paragraph numbering.
I have been using ShaunaKelly's directions successfully
for many documents but suddenly, the actual number of the
paragraph is not appearing on the document. It is
assigned to the correct heading (linked to correct level)
and even appears in the TOC so I hoped that updating
Office with the SP3 would help with this odd issue. I
posted on the boards 2x and didn't get a reply so I
figured it was a bug or not fixable.
Have you ever heard of this before?
thanks,
Regina

Klaus - no it doesn't... I re-applied the style at least
5x and the numbers are not there, although they appear in
the TOC. I even cleared the format, bringing the text
back to Normal, saved and exited the document and tried to
re-apply the style again but no luck. This method worked
1x in this document though. Strange, eh?

thanks for your time anyway,
Regina

G'day "Regina" <[email protected]>,

Sounds like its time for a Maggie.

Copienpaste everything but the last para mark in each section to a new
document.

This reduces corruption somewhat, and cetainly leaves broken list
templates well behind :-)
