Replace defective network printer; IP address now wrong

T

tcarp

I ended up successfully installing an HP D7460 printer on my ethernet but
shortly after the printer failed and has now been replaced.

When I connected the new printer I wasn't able to print. HP took over my PC
and made what I think was an IP address change for the printer and now I can
print fine. I need to do the same thing on another PC on the network.

What are the right steps to do that?

Thanks

Tom

Contact HP, this has nothing to do with Windows XP, you need to log on to
the printers management console to change the IP settings, I bet the printer
manual will tell you how to do that.
