Repetitious Update of same patch

We are constantly receiving the notice that there is an
update for the Security Update for MS Data Access
Components (KB832483) everyday even though we install it.
We are running W2K on a Netware network. I have the 4.83
SP2 client installed. Is there a problem with the patch
or is something else I should look at?

I am having the same problem -- came here looking for suggestions
At least one other person at my office has this happening too

We are also using W2K (SP4) on a Netware network. After installin
the update, it does not suggest we need to reboot. Even after a reboot
the patch does not show up in the list of installed software. If yo
check for updates, it will again tell you that this patch is needed

I'm not that concerned about the patch -- it's annoying to have automati
update remind you to install this every day though.

Update your MDAC.

The windows update should apply properly after that.
