Repeating error message

Using XP, I have just started using Outlook 2002 on my laptop and after
adding the first contact in the address book I now get the following message

A programme is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook.
Do you want to allow this?

If this is unexpected, it may be a virus and you should choose “Noâ€

The message keeps appearing every 5 seconds if I don’t delete it.

Advice would be welcomed on how to stop this occurring

Thanks

KJ

This message is raised when you either have a virus on your computer trying
to access your address book or when you have an addin installed in Outlook
and is not programmed securely. Usually very old addins cause this (like an
old Adobe Acrobat version which integrates with Outlook). Either
update/disable/uninstall the addin and try again.

Thank you for your message, I am currently running AVG and Zone Alarm so I
think the problem stems from an add in. The problem has only started since I
added an email address and details of a friend to the address book - it was
the first address added. If you have any further suggestions I'd be most
grateful

Thank you for your prompt reply, I haven't installed any addins and don’t
have any mobile or pda software on this machine. If I reinstall Outlook will
that solve the problem?
