Using XP, I have just started using Outlook 2002 on my laptop and after
adding the first contact in the address book I now get the following message


A programme is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook.
Do you want to allow this?

If this is unexpected, it may be a virus and you should choose “Noâ€

The message keeps appearing every 5 seconds if I don’t delete it.

I have switched off all addins and do not use this laptop in conjunction
with any other external devices. The problem started when I added the first
email address to the address book

Advice would be welcomed on how to stop this occurring.

Nonetheless, the message indicates an add-in. Are you using Word as your
mail editor? Perhaps it's Adobe PDFMaker causing the problem. See this:
