Repeated blue screen errors

Mike

My computer has been restarting so I disabled auto-
restart. I thought the problem was solved but the next
day I had 2 blue screens telling me there was an error.
They told me to disable bios caching and shadowing which
I did. Today I get the blue screen twice and it says the
same thing as before. What should I try now, or is it
time to take my computer to a professional? I can't
afford to lose my data.

It's time to take your computer to a professional. I've done it too. It's
not shameful. But it would be a shame if your lost your data because you
tried to fix something on your own without really understanding what you're
doing.

If you can't afford to lose your data - and who can? - you should be backing
it up regularly. If you suspect your computer is in serious trouble, you may
want to backup daily until you get the problem(s) fixed.

Once your computer is working properly, have the person explain to you what
went wrong and how to avoid the same thing happening again.
