Repeat animations when returning to a slide

I added a hyperlink on a page of a presentation to jump to another page where
then animations are executed. With a "Back"-Button I get back onto the first
page. If I go to the animated page a second time, the animations don't start
anymore. I just see the page in its final layout (= the way it looks after
the animation ran).
I also tried checking "Rewind after animation", but it didn't help.

Anyone knows how I could get the animations to re-run when I return to the
page?

The easiest way is to add a duplicate slide but with NO animation (or just a
blank slide) just before the animated slide, give this an auto transition of
zero seconds and link to this slide instead. It will not show but will reset
the animations on the next slide
