repeat animation each time access slide

I am creating a game in PP 2007 and want the slide to perform the custom
animation each time I click the hyperlink to the slide. The animation works
the first time I go to the slide, but doesn't work each subsequent time. I
tried "rewind" but all that does is clear the animated object after the
animation is done. Other ideas are appreciated!

you can work around this with a new slide before the one you really want to
go to. The new slide has nothing on it and is only a point for jumping to
the beginning of the next.

- Give the new slide a slide transition with "Advance Slide / Automatically
after 0 sec".
- Point the hyperlink to this slide
- Powerpoint will jump to the empty slide and will go to the next slide 0
sec afterwards
