repairing outlook 2003

Lately I am having problems with Outlook 2003 running with Win XP Pro with
all critical updates installed. Eg a few minutes ago a draft message which I
had created a few days ago and which was on hold suddenly sent itself whilst
I was typing out a reply to another message.
I have also had problems with send/recieve and with other aspects of
Outlook. Regular scans show a clean pc. So I believe that somehow Outlook
has been corrupted.

A draft kept in the Drafts folder can never send itself automatically.

What other Send/Receive issues are you talking about?
