repair operation failed: Flushing the ARP cache

When I try to repair my network connection I get the following message. The following repair operation failed: Flushing the ARP cache. I believe it is related to my other computer seeing this networked computer but not it's shared resources. I have two computers nestworked comp(a) running windows XP professional; comp(b) running windows XP home

Just thought I would let you know I found the problem. After many fustrating hours of searching for the answer the problem was simple. Several days ago I had a guest that I did not want to get into my computer, so I completly disbled the guest login. I guess some part of the guest login needs to be running in order for windowsXP home to share files.
