arp cache

Looking for a solution for Windows XP regarding my network connection. Every
time I log on to the internet I have to repair my LAN connection. Then the
following error message pops up: Windows could not clear the ARP Cache"
please contact the network administrator. Well, I guess that is me and I
have not been able to fix the problem. I can manually clear the ARP Cache
through the command prompt but it only is a temporary fix. Is there a
permanent solution?

Thank you for posting the reference to expert-exchange. Unfortunately
they want you to pay 9.95 for a subscription to get the answer. I am
having the exact problem reported below. Each time I boot up I have
to repair the connection. Occasionally it establishes it on its own,
but I eventually lose it. From what I have read there are lots of
people with this problem.
