'Repair Connection' failed 'Flushing the ARP cache'

Hi, I networked two laptops (Sony VAIO) successfully, but
since I modified network settings on one of the laptops,
the connection only works one way.
From A to B no problem, but from B to A the connection is
not available, and when I attempt a Repair Connection, it
gives the message: The following steps of the repair
operation failed: Flushing the ARP cache.

Any idea where I should look?

I doubt this is actually a problem, I would ignore it.
