Removing web page shortcut from desktop

I some how added a whole web page as a shortcut to my
desktop and i need to know how to remove it.
 
Right click the Desktop, select Properties, Desktop, Customize Desktop, Web
tab. Uncheck the item there.

Eh...... Doug, if I am not mistaken, I think Carol was saying that she had
created a desktop shortcut to a web site, and now she wanted to remove the
icon, but she didn't know how.
