I have recently used the System Recovery Console to
delete a problem file from the system32 directory which
had required shutting down windows File Protection. This
worked well and WFP is nowe re-renabled and all is
working fine. However I want to know is there any way to
completely remove the System Recovery Console so that it
no longer appears as a boot option? I preesume it would
be possible to set the default option timeout in the
boot.ini file to zero but this would not reove it, only
stip it appearing. Searches of the MSKB and of the Net
has yielded no answers. Solutions gratefully received!
