Recovery console

I am having a problem with recovery console. Windows will not boot, it had a corrupt or missing system file. I downloaded the boot disks and got recovery console to work. inadvertently replaced the C:\windows\system32\config file for XP Pro into system with XP SP1. Now I can't get back into the recovery console because it is asking for an administrator password. I don't have one. Any Ideas?

You could try just hitting Enter when asked for the password. If your
password is blank, this should work.
