Removing SP 2 Download

Trying to upgrade the wife's machine, I downloaded sp2 and tried the
install. Part way thru the install, it stopped and tells me that a
component has changed and the install will not continue. It uninstalls
itself and I reboot the machine.

I would like to remove the corrupt download and get a new one but It is not
apparent on the process to do this, (cant find it in add/remove programs).

Is there a Microsoft document detailing this or has anyone else found a way
to get this done... Help guys, she's on my case on this... No peace at
home
