removing msn messenger login name

I've recently upgraded from xp home to xp pro, not sure if
this has anything to do with my problem but prior to
upgrade on opening messenger I clicked the sign in box,
then had to select one of several email addresses I have.
Now when I open messenger, above the sign in button I see
one of my email addresses and below the sign in button the
messege, "if you want to sign in as a different user click
here". How do I remove this "default" address from the
opening screen?

Click Start, select Run and type: Control keymgr.dll
Remove the entries from the list that you don't want
