hello!

i had windows 98 installed on c: and winXP on d: .

then i formatted the c: partition an d installed XP on it
and deleted the windowsXP folders from d: .

still i get an OS selection at startup.
i tried FIXBOOT and FIXMBR from the recovery console but
it still didn't remove the selection screen.

with BOOTCFG you can only ADD to the boot list but not
REMOVE.

can someone help??

Edit the file c:\boot.ini. Remove the info you don't need.
Turn hidden and protected files on to see the boot.ini file.
