Remove Taskbar

I posted a message earlier but the answer didn't resolve
my question. So I figure I would try it again.

Does anyone know how to completely remove the taskbar from
showing on the desktop when Windows loads. I would like to
have a blank screen after Windows loads (I don't want to
hide the taskbar instead remove it).

I've been searching on the internet and cannot find an
answer. I'm wondering if it is even possible.

I've never seen this done, although there may be something in group policies
that could do it...mind if I ask why you want to do this?

i think that requires replacing the windows gui shell. search on the free
software sites, i have heard of replacement shells. there are some links
and comments here:
