I've been searching for a while now... Does anyone know
or is it possible to completely remove the taskbar from
the desktop. Result would be you turn on the computer no
taskbar appears, all you see is the desktop, no start
menu, just the desktop.

Thanks for your help.

Hmmm, haven't tried this but it might work:

Configure the default desktop so that the Taskbar is hidden - minimize it
all the way to the bottom of the screen. (Man that's hard to explain via
text, but I'm sure you know what I mean.) Then enable the following setting
in Group Policy:

User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Desktop\Prohibit Adjusting
Desktop Toolbars.
