Remove Old NT4 Domain Controller

Hi,
We had an Old NT4 Domain that we where upgrading to a Win2K domain. after
we had started doing the upgrade the old NT4 Domain controller crashed and
we thought that we no longer needed it so we did no repair or replace the
system. I have now found that we cannot remove the server account from
active directory. It complains about not being able to remove the DSA
object.
Can somebody tell me how I can remove this without having to rebuild the
whole domain from scratch.

use ntdsutil to remove data from AD. Look at the KB article

I have tried these steps but I have not been able to find the server in the
lists like the steps show. Did I miss something or is there something the
steps aren't tell me.
