I would like to remove some of the icons were
automatically added to my task's bar notification area
(or system tray), such as weather information and other
programs which slow down the system every time start it.

Anticipated thanks for the help.

This program will stop the progs starting up. Run it and select the Startup
Tab. Uncheck what you don't want to start up then Remove Selected, then hit
the Backups Tab and select everything in there and then Remove Selected.
Hope this helps.

Go to start, run, type in msconfig,
click the 'startup' tab, and uncheck those which you
don't want. Hope this helped.

Check the programs own options/configuration/settings.
