I've searched and can only find how to remove duplicate personal folders. I
have 2 duplicate Outlooks on the left under my All Mail Folders. It is a
duplicate of my outlook.pst delivery box and they match perfectly... email
comes into both. What caused this and how to I remedy it?
Thanks!

Hello Nancy,

You cannot remove the default personal folders.(Tools>accounts>under the
e-mail accounts listing , check which pst file is default and undo the
action.)
If you have created any rules to receive the e-mails to both pst file u
cannot delete them.
If you have IMAP / HTTP account as well you cannot remove them.
Letus know the name of the personal folder file as well.

You'll need to create anew Profile via the Mail icon in Control Panel. Then
open your old PST and copy data over or set that PST as the default
delivery. Don't import from your old PST.

Thanks everyone. My problem is I've used this for years and never really
understood nor took the time to learn how to work it properly concering the
data files so I have problems when I move things etc. Mainly cause I dont'
have an underlying knowledge. I'm going to actuallly take some time and find
some tutorials about it so I know what I'm doing. That would probably solve
most of my problems.

I appreicate all the help from you people. Don't know what I'd do without
these forums!

Depending on your version of Outlook you should be able to create a new mail
profile. You probably overwrote one .PST file with another, which is never
necessary since .PST files can go anywhere you have access to. See
http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/newprofile.htm for instructions.
