remove aborted XP install startup

How do I remove the line which comes up in the boot
sequence giving me an option to select window or the setup
program.

It always auto selects the setup route and because setup
was aborted after a failed recovery attempt, I cannot get
rid of the option to start with XP setup.

In previous versions there was a line in a bootup file
that could be edited out. Where is it in XP please?

Hi David,

Go to Start/Run and type in: msconfig

Then go to the Boot.ini Tab and click on Check All Boot Paths. If you
receive a warning about a duplicate path: Do you want to remove, choose
yes.

Or...

Right click the My Computer icon/Properties/Advanced/Startup and
Recovery/Settings/System Startup/Edit.
