removable disk drive task box not showing up

On every other computer, when I plug in my cruiser mini, it opens a task box asking what I would like to do with the files. On mine it opens nothing and I manually have to go to my computer and open it. I think the same happens when I plug in my camera to download the pictures. Any suggestions as to what is missing? I'm running xp pro
