Remote site properties - userid/pw

I have recently purchased a different computer (more powerful) on which is
installed Microsoft Office, including FP 2003. However, I now discover that
I am unable to publish updated web pages to my web site server because FP
does not recognize my userid/pw on this new computer. How can I reestablish
my userid and password?

Contact your host company. It is the server, not FP that doesn't recognize
the userid/pw.

I had contacted the host company, but the userid/pw I can use at the site
(w/o using FP) to gather stats, etc is OK. It is the one I use while working
with FP and later to publish updated pages that is not recognized. The techs
at our host company said that my issue is within FP not at the host server.

The user name and password used in FP should be the same as the one used to view your
stats.

If you're running a localhost web on your machine

In IE7;
Tools | Internet Options | Security | Local Intranet | Sites | Advanced and
added localhost to the list.

I have tried the same userid/pw that I use at the web server to analyze stats
but FP will not let me remotely access the server.

Sound like you host doesn't have the permissions set up correctly..

If you have FTP access on this account, the login info can be difference from the FP login info or
mis-entered by the web host, if they should be the same.
