FP2000 publishing problem

I'm moving to a newer pc that has Frontpage 2000 loaded on it. My old pc has
FP2000 also. Both computers are XP home and both current with updates.

The new pc won't publish my web. I moved the web via a thumbdrive -- and the
web opens just fine and I can make changes. When I try and publish I put in
ftp://ftp.lmb.org just as in the old pc. I enter my userid and pw, then I
get the 'listing pages in ftp://ftp.lmb.org:21...' in a dialogue box. Then
FP thinks for a couple minutes and then says

"Could not find a web server at 'ftp.lmb.org' on port 21. Please check to be
sure the web server name is valid and your proxy settings ..."

The 'web setting' shows the same web name on both computers.

How do I get my new computer to publish?

Compare your firewall settings between the two PCs.

The firewall setting are identical...but wait, my old dependable PC now
fails to ftp my website. What's up, I wonder?

I've emailed with the server admin ... his trace shows that I log into the
ftp but then hangup and never transmit anything.

BTW, my firewall is the windows XP firewall and the Frontpage is in the
exceptions list.

Where do I go from here?

Firewall setting are the same, but now my old PC won't update the website
either.

It logs onto the server but then hangs and apparently doesn't transmit any
info according to the sysop and then the server times me out.

The firewall is the windows XP firewall with Frontpage listed as an
exception.

Where do I go from here?
