FTP with FP2000

My new hosting company does not have FP extensions, yet they stated there would be no issue with publishing with FP2000 through FTP. However, when attempting this, FP2000 asks about every CGI file wanting to know if it should be deleted, and there are way to many to have any new updates published to the site. FP2000 has no button to indicate "no to all" only yes to all. How can I now publish updates to the web site? Do I need another program such as WS FTP? Need help.....thanks, Slim

FTP is more convenient if you use an 3d-party FTP software such as CuteFTP
or FTP Voyager, both downloadable and both offering a trial period.

Really not sure as I am a novice with web sites. I believe all the CGI is with the host as I have no such files on my local computer? Thanks.....

If the CGI files are in a single folder, usually cgi-bin, create that
folder in your local web, and convert it to a sub-web (right-click on the
folder, choose "convert to sub web" from the context menu.) There is no
need to place any files in the folder.
When you publish, make sure that you do NOT publish sub-webs. FrontPage
should ignore the cgi files.

no, by 'local web' he means the web server in your home directory or in a
directory called "cgi-bin".
