Remote Signon over LAN

I have a dinky little 2 computer home network connected by a linksys
wireless router. One computer is running Win 2k and the other is running
Win XP Home. Is there a way to 'sign on' to the 'other' computer's windows
if I'm just set up with workgroups?
 
If you mean gain access to the desktop, then you'll need third party
software. VNC is free.
