Remote Rollout

My department is made up of 160 odd laptop users based at sites all over the
UK. We're currently trying to rollout Outlook 2000 to all our users so we
can migrate them from Lotus Notes E-mail. To rollout the software we are
using a product called sitekeeper but we've come accross two problems.

1. We're rolling out the software using the /qn switch so it will be
transparent to the users. However, when the software is installed it reboots
the machine without asking! This doesn't happen if the user has admin
rights. Is there anyway to stop it rebooting after install?

2. Once Outlook is installed it places an icon on the desktop. When a user
clicks on this however, it tells them that it needs admin rights to finish
the install. As we are only a team of 3 and our users are based all over the
place we obviously can't visit them all to log in as admin! Is there any way
to get round this?

Failing that, is there an easier way to rollout outlook? (We don't have
SMS) Surely it shouldn't be this difficult!!!

Many thanks for any help you can give,

Rik,

Do you have an Active Directory? Then you can deploy by means of Group
Policy. Assign the package to the PC and you should be fine.

Sadly not. We're in a change freeze at the moment and stuck with NT domain
controllers.
