Remote Procedure Call with system restart

J

john

I have experienced the same problem that "TEA" posted.
This just happened recently. I have also tried the system
restore with no success. I am connected to ALLTEL DSL. I
have Norton Firewall and have seen no intrusion messages
indicating a virus problem. Any help?

Here's TEA's original question.

"Whenever I'm connected to the internet for about 5-10
minutes I get a message saying that the RPC service has
terminated unexpectedly and my computer needs to restart
then it shows a one minute countdown before my computer
restarts.

I tried doing a system restore to the time before it
started happening but that didnt work. I'm not sure what
caused it and what will fix it."
