Remote Help connection

Remote Assistance connection could not be established
because the remote host name could not be resolved.
Please try again.

I Tryed to connect to help frind on his PC but keep
coming up with this error. Any help out there?
 
Yeah, that means the address you're trying to connect to doesn't exist, or you're using some bunk nameservers. Right click on your connection, Properties, TCP/IP Properties.. and check your nameservers. Try using 4.2.2.1 and see if it works, otherwise call him up and have him do ipconfig and get his ip address and use that instead of the name.
 
If your friend has a hardware router/firewall in between his internet
connection and his PC, it's possible that he doesn't have TCP ports 3389
and/or 4125 port forwarded to his PC, which would prevent RA from working.
