Remote fax problem

In win server 2003 is installed fax mashine. I have have problem sending faxes from clients computers (clients have XP SP2). From clients, before one Microsoft update (I'm not sure wich) we could sent faxes. Now, I can connect to remote fax (\\server\fax) but console is empty. When I try to send fax, nothing happened. I can send faxes from client computers only logged as domain administrator.
Can anybody has idea what to do? I cannot remove microsoft update - cause company policies.
