I have 2 computers within my LAN (located in FL) and a
total of 3 computers in my WAN (1 in CT & 2 in FL). The 2
computers in FL access the Internet through a DSL Modem
and Router but I cannot connect to any of them using
Remote Desktop. All of the computers in my WAN have
Windows XP Professional as their operating system.
I believe the issue I have to resolve is connecting
through the Router to one of my computers in FL. How do
I resolve the issue of two IP addresses (one for the DSL
Modem & the other for one of the PC's) in my attempt to
connect using Remote Desktop. The IP of the DSL Modem is
basically set by my ISP in FL and the Router determines
and controls the IP addresses of my 2 PC's on the LAN in
FL.
Any insight would be appreciated.
