Remote Desktop, Netgear, Qwest who you gonna call?

I have a client that wants to connect to a remote machine at the
office. I am using a Netgear FVS318 VPN router and have set up the
client correctly. I can connect to the remote desktop just fine on my
machine, but she is unable. Since I can connect, I have to assume the
Netgear is correctly set up, the RDC is correctly set up. The
difference is that she has Qwest DSL router to connect to the Internet.
I have checked ALL the settings and NO ports are being blocked.

When we connect from her machine, Netgear reports that it has a
successful connection, but the RDC ALWAYS fails.

Got any ideas where I should start?

So your saying the she can connect to the VPN successfully? If so can she
ping the PC through the VPN tunnel? I presume she has an account on the PC
that is authorized for incoming Remote Desktop connections, ie. her account
is a member of the Remote Desktop Users Group.

Well, actually, she is NOT a member of that group, but then NO ONE is.
I can connect as her from my machine after I connect the Netgear VPN
client. I can't tell if the authentication is failing on the machine I
want to control or if I can't even see it. I will have her try to ping
the machine.

Her router has her set up on the 192.168.0.x subnet. That is the same
subnet as the remote network. Should I change her subnet to be
192.168.1.x or something?

The user ID she uses to access the office XP Pro desktop with Remote Desktop
must be an administrator or a member of the Remote Desktop Users Group. The
user ID is local to the office machine your trying to remotely access.

She is a member of the domain admins group which IS a member of the
local admins group. No one is a member of remote access.

I can connect as her from MY machine (different city than her), but she
cannot connect from her machine. (See previous message)
