Remote Desktop login

When I tried to connect to Windows 2003 server from XP at work, I am getting
the below error message --

"The system cannot log you on due to the following error: The parameter is
incorrect.

Please try again or consult your system administrator."

I didn't set up terminal server or active directory on Win 2003. Just
trying to use remote desktop option.

Any suggestions?

Can you check the Event Log to see if there are any additional errors
related to this problem? I can't find any references to the "The
parameter is incorrect" issue...
