Remote Desktop version 6.0 saving credentials / passwords?

S

steve

I have Remote desktop 6.0. Im trying to connect to a windows 2003
server.
I can do this but Ihave to keep typing password to connect everytime.

I want to save the password on my machine so that I can connect from
my local computer to the server w/out putting in password.

I read here

http://blogs.msdn.com/rds/archive/2007/01/22/vista-remote-desktop-connection-authentication-faq.aspx
-----
the “Always prompt for password” setting is enabled on the server. In
order to disable the setting, the administrator of the server you are
connecting to must run Terminal Server Configuration administrative
tool (tscc.msc) and double click on RDP-Tcp. In the “Logon Settings”
tab, there is an option labeled “Always prompt for password”
---

However the problem with this is that I want only this computer to
connect to the server with this setting being enabled.
In other words if an administrator (with same username and password)
from another comptuer connects to this comptuer it will not prompt
them for password.) I have tried to "save the credentials" on my local
computer so that it would use these but it doesnt seem to work. I have
read other info in the same blog on how to resolve this but it doesnt
work for me?

Sooo to recap I want to be able to save credentials to my local
computer to log on to a server. I do not want to enable esentially
"allow anyone who has credentials to automatically log on desktop w/
out typing passoword"

Know what I mean?
thanks.
