Issue with Enabling Remote Desktop Service.

T

test

Hi Everyone,
I was trying to enable the remote desktop using the following setting.

Control Panel => Network connections => Local Area Connection => Properties
=> Advanced Tab => Settings Button(below)
Enable the remote desktop server.

And when I press the ok button after doing above, I get the following error.

"an error occurred while internet connection sharing is enabled. the file
name,directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect"

I tried different things, but I keep getting the same error. Can some one
tell me what is the issue or problem and how I can resolve this.

A quick response is highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Enable Remote Desktop or add an exception in the Windows Firewall for Remote
Desktop? The latter is what it seems your trying to do.

If its the former see this...
