Remote Desktop License

I am trying to access my office network using my PC at home running XP Home
Edition. I get a pop-up saying the remote computer disconnected due to a
license protocol error. Other workers using XP pro don't have this problem.
The support guy at the office says the log says license expired. Do I need a
license for my home PC to be able to use Remote Desktop?

The Remote Desktop hosting feature is only available with Windows XP Pro.
You can only use Windows XP Home Edition as a client and not a host.

Perhaps I didn't explain my problem well enough. I am not trying to act as
the host. The host is an XP pro machine. I am trying to connect as a
client. One thing I failed to mention. I recently installed SP2 on my
machine. The host machine has not installed SP2.
