Remote Desktop

We are on a network environment. My PC is running Windows XP Pro and I am
trying to remote desktop to another PC running Windows XP Pro. However,
right after I connect and login to the remote computer; it just hangs there
(it does not load the desktop). I have no such problems remoting to other
PCs. What could be the problem or fix for this issue? Can I reinstall
Remote Desktop and where is it?

thanks.

Remote Desktop is "core" to Windows XP and does not seem to be a
separate module to uninstall / reinstall, before SP2. After SP2,
Microsoft has updated the Remote Desktop to version 6, which is a
separate download. However, this update is integrated into SP3 and
again it is not a separate module.

To fix the remote PC access, check any / every anti-virus / firewall
software on the "destination" PC. These cause most of the problems.
