remote desktop & dos sounds

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to get remote desktop to
transmit the sound from a dos program that runs in a dos window in windows xp
pro. The dos shell does sound the speakers on the host computer but remote
desktop will not transmit to the remote computer. All other windows programs
will transmit sound and I do have the "bring sound to this comuter" enabled.

XP does not have a "true" DOS mode. It is a simple emulator system. You
may have to look at DOSBox or VDMSound in ordeer to activate DOS sounds over
the sound card, which then will be sent to the remote.
