Remote Desktop Doesn't work.

Hi,
At one of our sites, we have a laptop that runs XP
professional. When attempting to use Remote Desktop, it
states it cannot establish a connection etc.

However, on another XP machine at the same site, the
remote desktop works fine.

Checked all the firewall settings and local network
settings and they are fine.

For RD to work, the user logging on to the target machine should be either an
admin on that machine or should be a part of remote desktop users group on
that machine.
Also, RD should not be disabled:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server
fDenyTSConnections should be 0
you may also want to check the other values under this key.
