"Remote Desktop Disconnected" Message, plz help...

I have had Remote Desktop web connection working for a long time with McAfee
installed and windows firewall installed. McAfee just had a major
upgrade/release and consequently I cannot connect via the web. At first I
kept getting page not found, then I went back into the firewall and redid
some settings and now I get the first remote desktop web connection page,
pick the screen size and hit connect and I get "Remote Desktop Disconnected"
The client could not connect to the remote computer. Remote connections
might not be enabled or the computer might be too busy to accept new
connections. It is also possible that network problems are preventing your
connection. Please try again later....

I have checked all the setting that I know of, it seems that remote desktop
is enable. I have added the standard remote desktop port and the port that I
picked to windows firewall and mcafee firewall. I checked off the ports on
my internet connections thru the properties in my network places.

I am at a loss I really don't know what to do, I even tried turning off all
McAfee services but tha didn't work. Any help and suggestionw ould be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I tried logging in from a computer within my network using the internal pc
address and I am able to login. So it is definately a problem with letting a
computer outside of my network use the remote desktop web connection.

I cannot figure this out, I even uninstalled McAfee and tried that. I then
only reinstalled McAfee virusscan and not all that other crap.

If you can access it internally, it must be the router. Can you telnet the port 3389 from the internet?

I tried using some website and entering port 3389 and said that it was
blocked. I then deleted the persistant port forwarding rule and adding a new
one with the same port number. Used that website again and it said that it
was open. I then tried using the remote desktop web connection but got the
same error. I then used the website again to see the port and it said that
it can't see the port.

I used canyouseeme.org and got the following message:
Error: I could not see your service on "IP Removed" on port (3389)
Reason: Connection timed out

The port number that I picked and opened on my router in addition to 3389
for Remote Desktop Web Connection is open and I am able to see it open.
