Remote Desktop Connection reboots host computer

Upon clicking CONNECT on remote desktop connection on client, I get the a
black screen and the IP address on top of window like it is going to give me
the login window, but that is where it stays, and The host computer reboots.

Host computer has MCE SP2 and client has WinXp Pro or other computer MCE SP2.
I have open connected in the past but having issues now, where the Host
computer reboots.
Troubleshooting Steps I have done
1. all windows updates and video driver update (saw suggestion in other
forum).
2.Verified user account added to the allow users list.
3.Open port 3389 on host computer local lan router, forwarded to the host
computer IP address.
4.Checked for apps that may interfere with connection, Norton Antivirus has
no firewall or other component that may interfere. Disabled totally the
Windows Xp firewall.
5.Created new user on host computer and gave access to allowed users list,
same issue upon connection.
6.Disconnected USB devices that may cause some issues, IPOD, External
backup drive.

Any recommendations....

See if your even viewer on the host computer is pulling up any errors
at the time of the attempted connect.
