Remote Desktop Connection over VPN - question

I must achieve remote desktop connection between Win 2k Server and Win
XP through VPN (TCP/IP connection).

Which software is the best for me to use (and easiest to configure)?

PcAnywhere, UltraVNC... ?


Could you give me some tips how to configure that connection.
