hi.
i have 2 computers in LAN.both have XP.
one of them is ICS (internet connection sharing) server
the other one is the ICS client.

the question :
when im disable the ICS , i can't use the "Remote connection" ,although ,
i can access the files and copy to the other computer.

can i disable the ICS ,but still use remote connection to other computer ?
i dont want the second computer will able to access the internet sometimes.
( i know i can use firewall, but its not good option in that case )

hope im clear.
have a nice day.

I think it comes down to the IP address of the target PC (which I presume is the client in this
case) when you disable ICS. Are you sure your calling the correct IP?
